Pens and Pencils??!! Say it isn’t so!

Today’s Daily Post says:

When was the last time you wrote something substantive — a letter, a story, a journal entry, etc. — by hand? Could you ever imagine returning to a pre-keyboard era?

I actually wrote a letter to a cousin who just found out she is pregnant!! YAY!! I am so excited for her, and the fun thing is that she is due right around the time baby Ronnie was born! I have bought some things to send with the letter, I called a prego-care package. Right now all I just have a couple of things to send…I will go this week and pick up a couple of more items, and send it on its merry little way.

In the letter I wrote a few things that helped me during my pregnancy, things and I also tell her that I’m always around if she needs anything. It was such a fun letter to write. Somethings are just better written by hand. I often times write my posts out with pen and paper before I post them here, sometimes the words flow better that way.

I don’t know if computers will ever go by the wayside, but I have noticed that many stylus’ for tablets are becoming increasingly like the ink pen. One for instance being Wacom’s Intuos Creative Stylus 2. I ordered one from Amazon a few days ago, thanks to a couple of Amazon Gift cards I had lying around. I have only played around with it a very minute amount, however, its function is quite intuitive and the writing is very smooth. One big positive is that it works through the protective film that is on my iPad.

I don’t know if we will ever go back to a time before keyboards, but it does indeed seem like the pen and paper is becoming more and more technologically savvy. I mean, Bluetooth, palm rejection, and it function like almost any writing utensil.
